This
page is specifically for webmasters and GyPSE™ partners (Local Network Service Providers™) as well as non-partners
who want to find out more regarding our service and to enhance/
optimize their sites for GyPSE™ membership or affiliation.
Since
our Local Network Service Providers™ (or advertisers) account
for a large proportion of our advertising traffic, working with
us to develop a great site that works with our browser and caching
system is to our mutual advantage.
Our goal is
to ensure that you experience your advertisement just as you envision
it to be.
A few of the
benefits of advertising with GyPSE™ include the following:
Highly
qualified traffic ! GyPSE™ by its very nature 'attracts' only those people who are in the process
of buying and/ or selling property (residential or commercial).
This means that we enable you to 'strategically target' those individuals
who are by default more likely to be looking for your service or
will be thinking about it soon. So importantly, you'll get 'higher
quality traffic'.
We
do not allow misleading advertising, and only seek to attract 'reputable'
property based businesses to our network. Our customers know this
and as a result have far more confidence in the services they see
advertised. Which means they are far more inclined to spend money
with you.
We
have fairly strict advertising guidelines, due to the unique consumer
focus of our site. These guidelines are important in keeping our
service valuable to both consumers and to advertisers. Rules you
should be aware of include:
- No misleading advertisements, including but not limited to:
fake scrollbars, advertisements which appear to be thumb nailed
images, advertisements made to look like click-able text links,
advertisements which are made to look like Windows functions
or errors.
- No false claims. If your advertisement states that something
is 'free', that needs to be a true statement. If it's a free
trial membership, it needs to say 'free trial', not 'free site'.
- Nudity and profanity is NOT allowed.
- If you offer a 'service' or 'membership program' and we find
your terms and conditions of membership to be misleading, we
may reject your ad on that basis.
Above
all we reserve the right to reject any advertiser, for any reason
with no refund if there is an infringement that we feel uncomfortable
with.
That said here's
some technical information for you…
Webcard™
1 - Description 1 (20 Words only)
We
use 'two' (2) types of advertising in our service depending on whether
an advertiser has their own website or not. This 'small' advertisement
is presented on the main results page and viewed by users making
general searches in your area. It contains text (20 words) and a
photo (1). This advertisement is a requirement of all advertisers.
If
the advertiser 'does' operate a website; a direct link is created
so that users may click through to view the various services on
offer.
If
the advertiser 'does not' operate a website; a direct link is created
so that users may click through to view a second page (See below),
which we provide, in order to outline services in greater detail
in place of a website. The description 'does not' need to contain
a company name but it should be relevant and eye catching. As editing
an advertisement incurs and small fee we would suggest that you
prepare this description prior to sign up aping particular attention
to grammatical correctness.
Webcard™
2 - Description 2 (200 Words only)
We
use 'two' (2) types of advertising in our service depending on whether
an advertiser has their own website or not. This 'larger' advertisement
is presented on the main results page and viewed by users making
general searches in your area. It contains text (200 words) and
up to 'five' (5) photos may be uploaded. Our system will automatically
detect your specific requirements and guide you through the process.
The
description 'should' contain a company name but it should be relevant
and eye catching. As editing an advertisement incurs and small fee
we would suggest that you prepare this description prior to sign
up paying particular attention to grammatical correctness.
- To optimize
visual quality use 200 x 200 pixels
- File size limit is 20kb, although we strongly encourage you
to make file sizes as low as possible. We will optimize your
advertisement at no cost to you, if you prefer.
- Photos need
to be in .jpg, gif or .png format.
- Animations
are encouraged

Credit card
payments:
We use a 'secure
payment gateway' provided by '2Checkout.com' and are proud
to be a certified seller on their network.
We
accept most major credit cards including: Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discover, JCB, Diners. These will show on your bill as 'GLOBAL PROPERTY SEARCH ENGINE CORPORATION'.
Credit card
payments are 'recurring' billing.
Check or Money
Order:
In the 'rare' event that we allow you to pay by check or money order,
your payments will be due 5 days prior to the start date of your
advertisement, though it must clear before the advertisement goes
'live'. You will be invoiced mid-month for the following month,
and if payment is not received by 5 days prior to the renewal date,
you may lose your advertising position. For this reason, we encourage
recurring credit card billing.
Ours (Free Banners
and Logos):
Please
feel free to utilize our 'free banner and logo's' (http://www.global-property-search-engine.com/graphics.html) but be sure to read our terms and conditions for usage.
Yours (Paid
Banner Advertising):
We would be
only too happy to support your brand (as long as it fits our profile
for strategic partners).
If you are interested
in 'banner' advertising placement contact our public relations department
(See below).
Outdated information
within 'Search Results':
When
you update information on your site it does not automatically update
instantly in GyPSE's™ search results. GyPSE's™ index is updated regularly and changes within your site will updated
by the next crawl.
Deleting a page
from the GyPSE™ index:
Except
in instances involving legal issues or spam, GyPSE™ policy for Removing a page from GyPSE's™ index requires permission of that page's webmaster. The webmaster
should contact us with proof of who he/she is. 'Proof' means 'root
level page' on the site in question and a request for removal from GyPSE™. After the URL
that corresponds with this root level page is received, we will
remove it.
